The Bohemian Glam Bedroom

High on my to do list this Spring is to revamp my bedroom.  I want to evoke a feeling of serenity + luxury + vintage bohemian with colors of light grey, pastel pink, white, gold and hints of lacquer black with a pop of yellow.  I also need to carve out a reading spot in my 1920’s craftsman 12 x 12 bedroom so I’m somewhat limited on space.

A couple years ago I painted my kitchen Benjamin Moore’s Silver Satin, OC-26 and want to continue with this color in the bedroom.  I already have mid-century modern inspired night stands so the revamp is primarily needed in new bedding, paint, rug, and finding the right blend of vintage home accessories.

Below is a wish list of pieces that are inspiring me to redecorate.  The pic in the middle is from Urban Outfitters and their Char-Bea by Ashley G Duvet.  I love the muted colors and boho chic vibe.  I may not be able to pull off the Frederick Cooper table lamps as they are a bit pricey but am trying to find something similar in shape with brass accents.

I am in LOVE with this bedroom from New Zealand Design Blog…love the colors, patterns and various textures.

This bedroom from SF Girl By Bay is the perfect blend of vintage + traditional with the monogrammed pillow cases and gilt wall sconces.

Curating the perfect mix of new + vintage accessories for your bedroom is a must.  Below are some of my favorite sellers and design bloggers pieces (including a pair of lamps from AnthologyHouse) that would add the right touch of vintage glam to an all white or grey bedroom.
